About Our Business Hello, we are Matthew and Kelly Etner, the people that make this stained glass. Matt has been working with stained glass since 1998, learning the art from a master of 15 years. Kelly has been involved since 2002, becoming quite accomplished and appreciated in a short time. We learned the craft while living in San Diego, CA and moved to the Asheville area to be closer to our family and to have a little bit of land for the kids to run around. We mostly display our work at various music festivals across the country. You can find our work locally at the Downtown Market and at our booth at the Portico Market next to the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville. We work from our home. We are off the grid, use solar panels and gravity for water pressure, heat with wood, etc.  We have a dome shaped house on the eastern edge of the Appalachian Mountains. We have terraced gardens and many fruit trees to help us live the "simple life".   The above picture was taken during the fall, from the Blue Ridge Parkway, near the summit of Mt. Mitchell.
