AGATE SLABS

These are pictures of some pieces that we may have made.  Each stained glass piece has
a cut and polished agate slab for a central focal point and a free formed background that
I choose to match with that particular stone. I study each agate to figure out what shape
and style will best accent the stone. No two pieces are the same, since each stone has
unique markings and individually designed borders. I have broken down the common
styles that we use, but we do plenty of free form and mosaic pieces as well. Due to our
busy show schedule and the unique nature of each stone, I can not keep this page
updated with what we have in stock. The piece you receive will be slightly different
than the one pictured, but it will be done in the same style and color.

Ocean Jasper - a new stone we are using in our work. It has
marvelous greens and pinks with natural ring mottle designs.
It goes well with our glass colors and styles. This stone is only
found off the coast of Madagascar, in the ocean. We use flat
medallion pieces that are about as thick as our glass.

Diamond - these are two different varieties. One
has even sides with 90 degree angles and two
border rows, the other has wider angles on the
sides than on the top and bottom for an elegant
appearance to match this beautiful stone.

the simplest form we make -
either a simple oval or circle of
clear glass around a medium
sized medallion.

Mandala- We find the nicest, natural colored stones for
these pieces. They measure from 9 to 12 inches wide
and 7 to 10 inches tall, so be sure to include your size
requirements with your order.
